"As a country girl I grew up in Powhatan County too many years ago to claim, I was so very proud and honored to be a part of the Festival of the Grape. From the check in point, the friendly, smiling faces started wonderfully a very long day. Janie a the County Seat outdid herself with her breakfast (thank you very much). I heard many other vendors say, "Have you ever eaten such good food!" My answer was that I lived just a mile down the road, ate there often and you should try the Sunday Buffet! The music was outstanding - what a great party! My minister is a very close friend of Steve Bassett. He is calling Mr. Bassett to let him know what a hit he was (As always!) at the Festival.

Many people this week have asked me how I did as a vendor: my best show ever. I sold over 80% of my stock with orders for custom work and promises to come to the Holly Days Bazaar for Christmas presents. I just wanted to let you know what a success the day was and I am so proud to be a citizen of Powhatan County!
